Helen Wheels had a long association with BÖC. In the early days, she made costumes for the band; later on, she co-wrote songs such as "Celestial the Queen", "Tattoo Vampire" and "Fallen Angel". A special friend to Albert Bouchard, he later drummed in the Helen Wheels Band. She died tragically after routine surgery, resulting in benefit gigs and a tribute CD.

John Shirley wrote the lyrics to 8 out of the 11 songs on "Heaven Forbid" and followed this up with 8 out of the 11 songs on "Curse of the Hidden Mirror" also. That's consistency, that is...
